Social Responsibility Project
In the fall of 2009 a project was launched to map the social responsibility performance of the Husqvarna Group.
Through interviews with managers in the countries where Husqvarna has its main operations a picture emerged of how Husqvarna takes social responsibility in the areas of organizational governance, human rights, labour practices, the environment, fair operating practices, consumer issues and community involvement. The results show a well functioning company with high standards, but also leave a certain amount of room for improvements.
