Husqvarna is committed to operating in a responsible manner in order to achieve development that is economically, socially and ecologically sustainable. This responsibility includes all of the Group's activities and processes, and is aimed at creating long-term value for the shareholders, employees and other stakeholders who affect or are affected by Husqvarna´s operations.
Increased focus on environmentally friendly products
The investments in products with improved environmental performance are increasing. Among others in 2009 the markets first battery-powered cultivator was launched.
Injuries in the factories decreased by 50%
Three years into the project, Safety @ Work, the number of injuries in the factories included in the project decreased by 50%.
